The Gore-Blossom is a enormous red flower whose intoxicating scent and clouds of hypnotic pollen arrests victims from miles away and leads them to collapse at the base of the blossom—to be dragged beneath and fertilize it's swollen roots.
After years of feeding, an earthen cyst formed around its roots opening into a hidden dungeon.

If you're using this as a one-shot or the start to an adventure, simply tell the players they are travelers who fell victims to the hypnotic scent of the Gore-Blossom. They awake in room 1, held tight against the east wall by the Gore-Blossom's roots. You can increase the tension by adding a hungry P'orc or two—as they try to break free from the roots.
In an ongoing adventure, completely taking away the player's agency is kinda meh. You can try to entice them with a quest:
- A wealthy merchant is tired of diverting his caravans around the Gore-Blossom and it's heavily fertilized grove. He will give the party nose-plugs and bitter stimulants to stave off the effects of the bloom's pollen, allowing them to be safely dragged underground where they can find a way to destroy the gore-blossom from underneath.
- The merchant can lie and say that: There's a small cave under the roots, and torch-fire applied to the roots will be enough to destroy the bloom.
Otherwise the Gore-Blossom could server as a wilderness encounter. Offer a save against poison to resist the bloom. If the party can see a hireling, friend, or horse dragged (alive) into the cave below they may wish to follow to rescue or recover loot.
